McHenry County has a long and proud agricultural heritage.

Before the McHenry County Farm Bureau was born in 1912, farmers for the most part were trying to "go it alone."

Nearly 60% of the County is still producing products as diverse as feed corn, blueberries, milk, as well as native plants and Christmas trees.
